1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and receiving massage therapy services from Sacred Balance, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not book or use our services.

2. Services Provided

Sacred Balance provides professional massage therapy services including but not limited to therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, manual lymphatic drainage, and Reiki energy work. All services are provided by licensed and certified professionals.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate health information and disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect treatment
• Communicate openly about comfort levels, pressure preferences, and any discomfort during sessions
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Maintain appropriate conduct and respect professional boundaries
• Follow post-treatment recommendations and self-care instructions

4. Health and Safety

Massage therapy is generally safe but may not be appropriate for everyone. Clients should consult with their healthcare provider before receiving massage if they have any medical conditions or concerns. Sacred Balance reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if we determine it would be unsafe or inappropriate.

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care or treatment.

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

We require 24-48 hours advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost. No-shows may be charged the full appointment fee.

We understand that emergencies happen and will work with you on a case-by-case basis when extenuating circumstances arise.

6. Payment and Pricing

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and other payment methods as indicated. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Mobile service requests include an additional $20 travel fee. Requests outside our standard service area may incur additional fees.

7. Professional Boundaries

Sacred Balance maintains strict professional and ethical boundaries. Inappropriate behavior, sexual advances, or harassment will result in immediate termination of services with no refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates professional boundaries or makes us feel unsafe.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Client health information and personal details are kept confidential in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

9. Liability and Disclaimer

While massage therapy has many benefits, results may vary. Sacred Balance makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results. Clients assume responsibility for any injuries or conditions that may occur as a result of failing to disclose relevant health information.

Sacred Balance carries professional liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Sacred Balance and protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
